Yo! Aah, this is unfortunate... Well, this and that came up, so it seems I can't answer the phone right now! I'm definitely not trying to ignore you, so please leave a message for me instead, OK?
...You wouldn't happen to be seeing your brother in the mirror or something too, would you?
['Or something'. It's late. Hizumi could be asleep, for all he knew... but he doubted it. He'd been boiling some water for tea before bed when he'd first spotted the reflection in the teapot. It had disappeared, but after a quick, wary check of the apartment, it had appeared again-- this time in his bathroom mirror.]
I doubt it has anything to do with astrology this time. [They'd probably have experienced different things, based on their signs.] Whatever it is, there's no way to predict the effects for sure.
[It's some time after this post that Ayumu will receive a message over his COMP.]
That wasn't me.
[There's real alarm in his voice. He'd wondered why his COMP wasn't working earlier, but he hadn't expected a doppelganger, much less one saying things like that.]
...It looked like they were planning to hunt us down. I need to get out of here.
[He has no doubt that if his double knew those things, it must have an idea of where he must be right now. And he's definitely not planning to stick around so it can find him, either.]
[Before he wakes up, Hizumi will remember this dream vividly. If he wants to keep it to himself or share it with the others is entirely up to him, but he'll have to describe it in his own words;]
Bright light. The sky is clear as the hottest summer's day, and the air is salty and humid. Nearby, there's two lounge chairs...and a chess game.
Chess, huh...? Well, Hizumi was always a curious fellow. Painfully so, in many cases.
What should happen to the curious cat if it can't be killed, after all?
A board game, however, is fairly harmless. With the extra confidence that dreams tend to grant, he trots on up to it, observing the pieces but not yet seating himself.
The chess board appears to be already set in motion, there are pieces taken and removed on both sides. The figurine seem to be normal, standard pieces. One side has a black couch, the other white. The waves continue to move, the breeze moving his hair slightly.
"You're not sitting down?" a voice behind him inquires, poking at his back. The voice is soft, almost soothing.
[Whenever Hizumi gets up in the morning, he'll find Ayumu actually running a bit late making breakfast, for once. The reason why might be a bit apparent if Hizumi looks closely-- he looks exhausted, like he hasn't slept well at all, and on any other person, he'd seem even a bit jittery.
But the electric kettle was half empty but still steaming, with a nearly empty mug set next to it, so he's obviously been up a while.]
[And Hizumi trots on down to the kitchen with a wide yawn and a stretch - the perfect picture of someone who has slept well and good for the healthiest number of hours for his age group.
Well, not really, but he makes it look like it at least.
It's only natural that he'd see something off right away. They've been living with each other how long now?]
Whoa- You look like you got up on the wrong side of the bed.
They have been living with each other a long time now, so it's likely to be perfectly obvious he's not paying as much attention as he cooks-- and the meal isn't being prepared with the same attention to detail.
Though his hair looking more porcupine-ish than usual might clue him in as well. His reply is downright bland in it's tone.]

Mizushiro, are you available? There is something I would like to discuss.
[Text]
Ah, I know! You've finally fallen for me, haven't you?
[Yes, that's definitely it Hizumi.]
[Text]
It's nothing of the sort. It's a topic I prefer to speak to you in person about.
[Text]
Did you have a particular time or place you wanted to meet?

Yeah.
[He'd spotted it in the mirror the first time. Talk about an unwelcome face.]
I thought I was seeing things at first, but it looks like Hinoto-Ri's up to its usual games.
no subject
You're more familiar with this than I am.
[He'd had his experiences already, but not as many as Hizumi.]
But my bet is this isn't only thing we should expect.

[It's one of those things.]

[Ayumu's alarm is more closely contained, but his tone seems to be slightly shaken up as well.]
What was that?
[Not 'who'. What. There was no way that was real.]

[But the things that it said were...
No. Let's not even go there.]

As much as possible, anyway.]
You have somewhere safe to hide? From the sound of it, they want to kill us and assume our identities.
[Ayumu was already rummaging around, grabbing the gun he'd borrowed only days earlier. Better safe than sorry.]

Ah, what do you think, chocolate ganache or strawberry-filled? Try to hurry, I need a professional opinion here.

Why do you ask?

I ask because you... seem to know your way around the best indulgent foods, and...
[Yeah, that's totally the only reason.]

Here, I can finish it off. Something happen last night?
