[Unfortunately there isn't much in the way of supplies for carrying everything, so he'll be limited to whatever he can keep on him at once. But once he decides what to bring with him, he can have them on his person!]
[He folds over the end of the seed packet and places it carefully back in his pocket]
[Then he threads his right arm through the watering can's handle to let it dangle near his elbow like a shopping bag and uses the small shovel to gather a scoop of fertilizer with his left hand]
[He brings them back out of the shed -- pauses, considering the amount of fertilizer in the little shovel]
[He sets the watering can down for a moment and then goes back inside -- pauses again, considering the size of the fertilizer bag]
[In the end, he retrieves a second scoop of fertilizer, and a third, and a fourth, and a fifth, making a small pile beside the barren garden, until he thinks there's a sufficient amount for his own seeds, Valerian's, and Aster's]

[For now, though, with everything arranged, he peeks in the watering can to see if there's anything left in it]

[Well, Aster went to get water, but he isn't here yet to bring it back. Maybe he didn't have a vessel for it?]
[Turning toward the well, to bring him the watering can -- but oop, there's Aster, bringing the news that the well is dry]
