[ aster meets him at the entrance dressed with a little more effort than the usual, and takes him by the hand ]

so far it's just the regular gardens...but he is leading them back to where snow's plots were before moving them to acidia ]

Nah, we're not going that far.

[ snow might be able to smell the food before he sees anything...

because as they turn a bend around where they first kissed, he'll see a whole area set up around some trees! there's a little grill and a bunch of freshly cooked meats, with a couple of plates of cookies and cupcakes for desserts nearby. more notably, aster's slung blankets over the lower boughs of the tree and stuffed the inside with soft pillows and fairy lights borrowed from acidia's pillow pit to give it a cozy feel. there's also a smattering of lit candles around, adding more soft light to the area. ]

[He brightens when he smells food, and is visibly delighted when they actually get to the pillowfort.]

Barbecue and a pillow fort?

[Aster knows him so well.]

I know it's not much, but I thought it'd be nicer than just, like, going to the lounge or pool or something like we can do any time.

[Giving his hand a squeeze.]

It's perfect! Especially with how limited we are here.

[He will spend 5 full seconds admiring the setup from here before tugging Aster over to it because it would be a shame to let to food get cold.]

Jem and Jewel helped out. And Nettle taught me how to do the barbecue, since he's the pro.

[ pulling him down to sit on the pillows and blankets when they're close enough, so aster can start serving him ]

And I got some of the stuff, like the grill thing, from Nana.

Doing all that behind my back? That's pretty impressive.

[Leaning back on the pillows, really making himself comfy as he awaits meats.]
