but he's all to happy to kiss snow, raising a hand to his face as he does, before flopping back onto the bed

Is Aster still awake by the time he returns? He does in fact make it quick.]

[ takes his face in both hands and pulls him in for a kiss ]

[Another one of those little laughs - he's full of those today, it seems.

For the second time tonight, he takes things slowly, carefully. He's aware enough of his methodical nature to make it physically teasing along the way, from preparing to actually doing, his gaze all the more attentive to catch the first signs that he may need to change course, slow down or speed up - always, always watching for the slightest signal.

Outside of the quiet sound of Snow's murmurings and their bodies pressed against one another, it's a much quieter affair, but no less warm and exhilarating in its own way.]

[ he can't help but be quieter, of course. but he makes up for it in other ways. the eagerness of his hands, his mouth, on snow. his smile, never far from his face. i love you, mouthed more than once.

and after the first time, it's easier to exercise a little patience. go slower, as snow does. and, of course, there's no shortage of kisses. ]

[The slower pace makes it no less sweet, and it's only once they're both well and truly exhausted that he curls up next to Aster's side again, breaths heavy with exertion still. It's with a flushed grin that he reaches up to idly trace a finger along Aster's forehead, brushing aside his bangs as he does so for a better view.]

[That single word alone doesn't really encapsulate the moment they just shared, not really, but it's much easier to leave it at that when one is still somewhat breathless.]

[ not like aster has room to judge brevity right now. he nods, then leans in to kiss snow's forehead. more than good.

...but it's only a short kiss, because he's catching his breath, too ]
